Idaho

So Wes and I took a quick weekend trip to go to Idaho so I could meet the family... We left at 6:30 am to get to the airport, only to find out that our flight was delayed. They announced a few times that they would have an update a little later. An hour later we finally boarded our plane and waited for take off. Our Pilot announced right before we took off that they reason our plane was delayed was because they had a loose rivet on the wing and it had taken a while to find it. Crazy right? Why would you announce to your passengers that there had been a loose rivet on the wing and that they had a hard time finding it so they could fix it? Yeah, so it was a good way to start off the flight... Needless to say we made it just fine. We landed in Salt Lake around 12:30 pm and Wes's really good friend Clint and his wife Ashlee picked us up from the airport. We ran around Salt Lake for a little while and got a bite to eat and we were on our way to good ol' Idaho Falls... The car ride was long and I zonked out for a little bit but we made it in record time thanks to Clint!! (You speed demon you)
He dropped us off at his Mom's house so we could say hi to everyone, then we were off once again... First to the old shop Wes used to work at to say hi to the owners... I found out that Wes doesn't go on vacation to relax he goes to work... He changed a dirt bike tire for a customer then we left before some stuff hit the fan. Then I got to go meet his Mom, absolutely sweet!! She gave me a pair of hot pink boots cuz I have always wanted some... Love them!! We didn't stay long there either, cuz we were on our way to go see his Dad and Step-Mom. They fed us a delicious dinner so we could head over to Ben and Laura's house to play games. We had talked about going to bed early, yeah right tho... We were out til almost midnight...
Wes took me horse back riding the next day, had an absolute blast... He told me that I was going to burn cuz I was out in the sun and I honestly think I was the only one to not burn, his poor neck was bright red. Fireworks that night, they were amazing!! Wes had told me that they were amazing in Idaho Falls and I definitley recommend that everyone needs to watch them in Idaho Falls at least once in your lifetime... We sat with his Dad, Step-Mom and her three daughters... We wrestled with them and tired them out...
Sunday we went to Yellowstone with Wes's sisters, Ashley and Leslie, and his Dad. It was awesome, but I have to tell you that his Dad seriously had more energy than the four of us combined. We were so pooped by the end of the day and he wanted to stop at Mesa Falls on our way home. We saw Old Faithful, way cool!! The weather was beautiful!! I didn't want to come back to hot Phoenix. Sadly, we had to come home on Monday... Almost missed our flight, that was a good time in itself!! There was a ton that we did but I don't want to bore everyone with it!! Thanks to everyone in Idaho, I enjoyed my time out there and can't wait to go back!!
