Job

So yesterday I had an oral board with Pinal County and it went pretty stinkin good in my mind... From what I understand they only had 10 positions open and like a million applicants!! I went in yesterday and came out pretty confident in all the answers I provided!! So, today I get a call back asking if I can schedule another appointment to go in and meet with a background investigator... I jumped all over that, second step in the hiring process!! Sign me up!! So, yeah as you can all imagine I was pretty pumped and excited... Then I get another call saying that they are going to have to cancel my appointment because my Pops works there and they can't hire family members!! Grrr... So I complain to the Pops, he complains to some peeps and then I get a call saying they're really sorry and that they're bummed they couldn't hire me cuz I was one of the highest scoring applicants and they can't do anything about it!! Talk about a swift kick in the nuggets!! It's a good dang thing I don't have any but if I did, I feel the pain right now... So now Jennifer is back at square one and the Kentucky job is still there for me!! What to do, what to do?? Any suggestions?
